I got my C64 around 1986. At that time I was 11 years old, visiting the fourth grade of elementary school. Much too young to have a computer was the opinion of most elder people. Three years later, I took all money that was on my bank account and bought an Amiga 2000. Once again, people said that such an expensive machine is nothing for a kid. From my point of view it suited me very well and despite playing games alot, I got to know the basics of computing that are nowadays hidden behind shiny clean userinterfaces and abstraction layers. Also did I discovered my passion for graphics, CGI and all that.

Today all those people are glad to know me. They call me up and ask me to fix their rotten windows machine, although I see Windows as failure and love my Mac. Mostly I get the job done… ;)

It was back in those days, where a phenomena called scene appeared. Cracker intros turned into demos and split up from the illegal scene. For those interested in whole story I can recommend the freax books. Right from the start I was fascinated that someone was able to control this machine and make software at home without beeing a professional programmer. For me this had something to do with magic (till today I never learned how to code very well). Conecntrated on things I could do, I pixeld my way through the years and now I am a member of Scarab (Amiga), Remember (C64), and DogCow (Mac).

On this page I will show some of my scene related stuff.

None of these graphics have benn used mostly because I am a lazy bum and rather use Photoshop instead of AMICAPaint. Converting those never really worked and I never got mouse support on Power64 to run properly (despite having only 10 Minutes to edit) Congo seems to be better but even here I am still having trouble…
